Chinese Boiled Shrimp

Boiled shrimp is a simple Chinese recipe which belongs to cantonese cuisine. People who live in Guangdong province like fresh seafood with boiling or steaming cooking way. It will preserve the original flavor and nutrition of the seafood to the greatest extent.

Fresh shrimps taste original sweet after boiling.Only use some ginger and scallion to remove the fishy flavor. Serve with a little light soy sauce. It is done!

Ingredients

  • About 500 gram shrimp, cut off the shrimp’s whiskers, remove the shrimp line
  • 15 gram scallion, cut into segments
  • 10 gram ginger, sliced
  • 5 tablespoon light soy sauce

  1. Add 3 cup water, ginger and scallion to a wok, boiled.
  2. Add shrimp, boiling about 2-3 minutes, cooked through.
  3. Transfer to ice water,  drained, serve with light soy sauce.
