Chinese Deep Fried Meatballs

The temperature in the city where I live has dropped to 10 degrees Celsius which only belongs to a few days of the year. Although compared with winter in the north, this can only be regarded as autumn. People want to eat some meat in such cold weather. Today’s meatball  recipe which was added tofu and carrots is from my aunt.

I will make some meatballs to freeze when I have time. It can be eaten directly after heating it in the microwave or boiling in the soup. It is very convenient for people who often don’t have time to cook.

Fat to lean ratio of minced pork

The ratio I used is 1:9,If you want to use pure lean meat, or fatter, that’s fine too.

Why add an egg and  some flour

The function of eggs and flour is to better combine the ingredients and facilitate the shaping

How long can the fried meatballs be stored in the freezer

Can be kept for at least one week.

Ingredients
  

  • 245 gram minced pork
  • 140 gram tofu
  • 3 gram ginger chopped
  • 70 gram carrot,chopped
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • one egg
  • 1 teaspoon flour

Instructions
 

  • Mixed alll the ingredients well
  • Made many small balls by hands
  • Heat the oil over medium-high heat in the wok
  • Dee-frying the balls untill cooked through
