  • For rice
  • Rice, 80 g, washed
  • Water, 150ml
  • - Red braised Silvery Pomfret
  • One Silvery Pomfret, 462 g
  • Corn starch, 2 tbsp
  • Ginger, 1/3 OZ, sliced
  • Garlic, 3 cloves, peeled
  • Scallion 1/2 OZ, cut into sections
  • - Pan-fry the fish
  • Oil, 3 tbsp
  • - Seasonings for the red braised fish
  • Dark soy sauce, 1 tsp
  • Light soy sauce, 1 tbsp
  • Sugar, 1 tsp
  • Vinegar, 1 tsp
  • Salt, 1/2 tsp
  • White wine, 1/2 tbsp (or cooking wine)
  • Hot Water, 2 cups
  • - Stir-fry baby bok choy
  • Baby bok choy, 200 g, cut into sections
  • Garlic, 3 cloves, chopped
  • Oil, 1 tsp
  • Salt, 1/8 tsp


  • Add washed rice , water to an electric pressure cooker, cook for 10 minutes.
  • Slice the ginger, peel the garlic, cut the scallion into sections.
  • Make incisions on the belly of the fish, on both sides.
  • Coat the fish with corn starch, on both sides.
  • Add oil the wok, pan-fry the fish until brown on both sides, add garlic, ginger, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, salt, white wine, hot water, and scallions, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add oil to the wok, then add garlic chopped, stir-fry for a while, then add the baby bok choy, stir-fry until they turn green, add salt, about 1 minute, turn off the heat.
  • When the fish is cooked, turn off the heat.
  • The meal is ready.
