I traveled to Xinjiang and brought back some raisins. How do I eat them? Making a steamed rice cake is a good idea. Steamed rice cake can be served as a snack or as a breakfast staple, making the menu richer.
Rice added baking powder to make the steamed rice cake softer. But I prefer a healthier steamed rice cake with only yeast. Fermentation takes much longer time in winter than in summer. If you like more sweetness, add more sugar.
Ingredients
- 300 gram rice
- 50 gram raisin
- 150 gram water
- 3 gram yeast
- 40 gram flour
Instructions
- Wash the rice, then soak rice with water , will be soaked overnight in refrigerator, about 10 hours.
- Drained, and add soaked rice to breaker, add some water, the water is just over the rice, make them into rice paste water.
- Remove to a big bowl, add yeast, flour and sugar, stirring in one direction, about 5 minutes, mixed well , cover with plastic wrap, ferment again about 1 hour in a warm place. Fermented to twice the size.
- Sprinkle raisins over the rice paste, steaming for 10 minutes with steamer, turn off the fire. Wait for 1o minutes before remove the lid.
